General Administration

Under the General Administration sector, Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle’s administration, having realised that our offices and lodges in Gusau, Kaduna and Abuja were seriously dilapidated and therefore could not provide a befitting, conducive environment for the State administration services, embarked upon the following projects for the improvement of our offices and lodges:

  1. Construction of Governor's lodges in the headquarters of the 14 Local Government Councils at the cost of N1,655,936,100.00
  2. Construction of the office of the Deputy Governor in Gusau  
  3. Renovation and construction of additional structures at Abuja Liaison Office, at Songhai Street, Maitama at the cost of N480,575,261.15
  4. Renovation of Abuja Governor's Lodge at Lepanela, Ganjis Street, at the cost of 618,125,789.10
  5. Construction of 18 4-bedroom executive chalets and renovation of the entire Government House in Gusau at the total cost of N1,980,531,194.42
  6. Renovation and construction of additional structures at Kaduna Liaison Office at the total cost of N450,608,753.50
  7. Renovation and reconstruction of the State House of Assembly Complex
  8. Renovation of Legislative Quarters
